To ‘jab’ or not to ‘jab’ … That is the question! Are you prepared to answer that question? Is this similar to ‘the mark of the beast’? Is ‘the jab’ a dress rehearsal or ‘get in readiness’ for their next plans!!! ??? ‘And he provides that no one should be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark… of the beast.’ Rev 13:17
Proponents of ‘the jab’ are making all the seducing types of promises. Fight disease. Travel access to the world. Keep your job and feed your family. Meet socially and have fun times. Enjoy dinner at your favorite restaurant. Jesus faced such decisions. We call it the ‘Three Temptations of Jesus’.
Again, the devil took Jesus to a very high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world, and all their glory; and he said to Him, “All these things will I give You, if You will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, ‘be gone, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’” Math. 4:8-11
Is ‘the jab’ the cunning of the enemy of your soul to invite you into his web of deceit? To take the first tiny step into obedience? With all the promises that go with such obedience? Let’s look at what happened after Jesus made that decision! ‘Angels came and began to minister to Him!’
A couple of months ago I heard a prominent minister of the gospel make a statement that I vehemently disagree with! He said, “Let’s face it, folks! When the mark of the beast comes, and you can no longer buy and sell without that mark, you are going to die!” I disagree!! I believe God’s plans!!! I believe in God’s ability to provide!!! I have been at the point of one day of food in my refrigerator. With no possibilities of money coming in for several days. God provided supernaturally! ‘Fishes and Loaves’ are part of God’s plan for us today! He is the same yesterday, TODAY, and tomorrow! I believe that with all my heart!!!
His supernatural ability provided for thousands of Hebrews in the middle of the desert for 40 years. He had this all planned out! He had plans! He had the ability! And He did it!!! His compassion released fishes and loaves for the multitude, when all He had in His hand was five fishes and seven loaves of bread.
What is He saying to your heart? Each one of us, as we have grown to know the heart of Jesus, speak about faith that will move mountains and faith that will allow us to walk on the waters. But do we believe this? Do we trust Jesus enough to step out on the water in the midst of the storm as He beckons us??!! Are you willing to sit before Him today? Hear his heart before you make such decisions?? Are you willing???? When He speaks to our heart about a decision that will require obedience on our part, Will You trust that He has plans for you to ‘overcome’? That decision is between you and Him. He is a ‘face to face’ Person.
