Bonita Bush, Teacher and Author
Bonita Bush was born 75 years ago and lived as a shy introvert on a farm in a small town in Michigan. A neighbor picked her up every Sunday, taking her and other neighborhood kids to Sunday School from the age of 4 years old. She learned about Jesus of the Bible, gave her heart to Him in a dramatic moment at 17 years old, but never ‘knew’ Him until her late 30’s. She married and divorced and had a wonderful son and grandson. As a single mom, she worked herself through years of further education at Central Michigan University, going on to a successful career in management and sales.
In mid-life, Jesus ‘awakened’ her to His Living Word, His Presence, and His ways. In 1988, He audibly spoke into her the call and gifting of ‘Teacher’. Her life transitioned as the anointing and miracles began to flow and overtake her life. She now lives in a fifth-wheeler year-round in Whiteclay, Nebraska. She ministers to the ‘hungry of heart’, those traumatized, and the broken-hearted, both near and far. Street ministry became her lifestyle. At the age of 74, she became a published author, HIS PASSION TO PROVIDE. She is now sparked with a new vigor to reach out during this devastating season of lack, loss, and homelessness to teach and proclaim Jesus as Saviour and Provider.
